Archambault Orian A

Orian A. Archambault, 76, of Narragansett passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2016 at home. He was the beloved husband of Sandra (Field) Archambault for 52 years. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Orian and Marguerite (DesLauriers) Archambault. Orian was a Certified Public Accountant running his own accounting practice for almost 30 years, with a specialty in assisting the commercial fisherman in Galilee. Previously he was employed by the accounting firm of Blackman and Blackman. Before returning to Rhode Island he was employed by NASA, the IRS, the United States General Accounting Office. He was a graduate of LaSalle Academy and The University of Rhode Island. Besides his beloved wife, he is survived by his loving children, Renee Reilly of Barrington and David Archambault and his fiancee Tricia Pimental of Narragansett. He was the brother of Marc Archambault of South Kingston and Peter Archambault of Providence. He was the brother of the late Robert Archambault. Orian was the grandfather of Connor Reilly, Cameron Reilly, Jake Archambault, Nick Archambault, Sidney Pimental and Gabriella Pimental. Orian and his wife Sandra had a home in Naples, Florida for 18 years where they spent many enjoyable winters with their Florida friends. Orian had a strong bond with the ocean. He loved sharing his passion for boating, clamming and crabbing with his family and friends. He and his wife enjoyed cruising on their trawler “Macbeth” along the East Coast, Intercoastal Waterway, in the Florida Keys and Canadian Seaways for 17 years. Family and friends will celebrate Orian’s remarkable life at a tribute to him on Saturday, December 10th at 12:00 p.m. at the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield. The family will welcome guests for visitation prior to the service from 10 a.m. to Noon. Burial will be private.
