Antonette F. Turrisi

Antonette (Ferraro) Turrisi, 98, passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2015. She was the wife of the late Francis J. Turrisi. Born in South Kingstown, she was the daughter of the late Giro and Rose (Beatrice) Ferraro and the sister of the late Carl , Mary, and Joseph Ferraro. She leaves two step children, Terri and Joel Turrisi; six nieces and nephews, Patty Palazzo, David Ferraro, Linda Latham, Rosemary Geaber, Joanne Matteson and Carl Ferraro. Ann was a secretary at U.R.I., manager of Giro’s Restaurant and worked at Hit or Miss Clothing Store before retiring at the age of 81. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 114 High St., Wakefield. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Peace Dale. Visiting hours Friday 5-7 pm at Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St. Wakefield.
