Anthony A. Santaniello

Anthony A. Santaniello, 76, of Samuel Rodman Street, died Tuesday. He was the beloved husband of Barbara (Broderick) Santaniello for 52 years. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Thomas and Lucy (Dimeo) Santaniello. Mr. Santaniello was the founder of the Rhode Island Business Institute and the Rhode Island Reading Institute. He served with the US Marines, achieving the rank of Captain. Besides his wife he is survived by three children, Robert Santaniello of Exeter, Margaret Goodman of Ocala, FL, and David Santaniello of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; and three grandchildren, Alex, Rachael, and Erica. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9 AM Friday August 3rd at St Francis of Assisi Church, 114 High Street, Wakefield. Burial with military honors will follow in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
