Anne W. Brennan, 48, of Providence, Rhode Island, beloved daughter of Noel-Anne and James Brennan of Peace Dale, RI, died suddenly on May 18, 2017, at the Miriam Hospital in Providence, RI. She was born in Providence on March 15, 1969. She graduated from Rocky Hill School in East Greenwich, RI in 1987, from Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin in 1991, and she later earned a Master’s degree in English, concentrating in Shakespeare, in 2004 from the University of Rhode island in Kingston, RI. She was employed as a paralegal for lawyers in Providence. She also tutored English, as well as Theatre and Popular Culture for The Write Stuff. Anne was interested in theater and for several years was a performer in King Richard’s Faire, a renaissance fair. She loved science fiction and fantasy and was involved in fan activities and attended Dragon Con in Atlanta, Georgia, as a panelist. Anne will be remembered for her creativity, humor, love of cats and conservation, and for her sense of fun.
