Anne M. Andersen

Anne M. Andersen, 92, of Narragansett, died Sunday. She was the wife of the late Arthur Andersen, Jr. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late William and Jennie (Kingston) Loughery, and she graduated from Hope High School in Providence. Mrs. Andersen was the owner and president of Anne Andersen Real Estate, which she founded in 1947. She was a member of the Washington County Board of Realtors, attended South County Adult Day Care, “The Club”, enjoyed swimming, and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by a daughter, Mary Wojciechowski and her husband Stanley of Narragansett; five grandchildren; Anne, Steven, Thomas, Matthew, and Sarah; and eleven great- grandchildren. She was the mother of the late James Kingston Andersen. The funeral will be 8:45 a.m. Saturday from the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Thomas More Church, 53 Rockland Street, Narragansett. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. Visiting hours are Friday 5-7 p.m.
