Anna C. Bannister Weinreich

Anna C. (Bannister) Weinreich, 86, of Wakefield, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 22nd. She was the wife of the late Robert “Bob” Weinreich. Born in South Kingstown, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Katherine (Whalen) Bannister. She is survived by five children, Robert Weinreich, Jr. of Peace Dale, James Weinreich of Wakefield, Carol Weinreich of Exeter, Sandra Morrow of Sarasota, FL, and Mary Weinreich of Wakefield; a brother, John Bannister of Wakefield; two sisters, Katherine Hey of Wakefield and Mary ”Betty” Belknap of Wakefield; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Charles Bannister, Ethel Wolff and Cora Adams. A service will be held at 1 pm Tuesday, December 1st at the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be sent to the Weinreich family at 120 Orchard Avenue, Wakefield, RI 02879; checks made payable to Robert F. Weinreich, Jr. All donations will be used in honor of Jacob Karolie and his memorial.
