Anna Vellone

Anna (Pari) Vellone, 92, passed away Monday, October 6, 2014. Widow of Andimo “Andy” J. Vellone. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Rose Pari and step daughter of Carmella Pari. Mrs. Vellone was a communicant of St. Thomas More Church. She enjoyed painting, bingo and especially cooking for family gatherings. She leaves a son, Henry Vellone and his wife Gail; a daughter, Rosetta Ravo and her husband Ralph all of Narragansett; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was mother of the late Anthony Vellone; sister of the late Joseph, Tony and Etta Pari and Dora Ferrer. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Thomas More Church, 53 Rockland St., Narragansett. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Peace Dale. Visiting hours Friday 4-7 p.m. in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904.
