Anna P. Smerkar

Anna P. Smerkar, 86, of Saugatucket Road, died Sunday. She was the wife of the late Frank D. Smerkar. Born in South Kingstown, she was the daughter of the late Harry A. and Amy E. (Pierce) Rathbun. Mrs. Smerkar was employed at Colonial Narrow Fabric for many years. She is survived by four sons, Frank D. Smerkar, Jr. of California, John H. Smerkar, Sr. of Exeter, Nicholas J. Smerkar of Pawtucket, Peter M. Smerkar of Bradford, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Burial will be private in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
