Ann F. (Champlin) Souza, 90 of Beltsville, MD formerly of Warwick, RI, passed away in the loving presence of her children on Saturday, May 23, 2026. Born in South Kingstown, she was the daughter of the late William and Elizabeth (Mars) Champlin.

She is survived by her five children, Dawn Souza of MD, Randolph Richard Souza Jr., of CA, Elizabeth Roseann Souza of MD, Joy Ann Souza of RI and Lorraine Souza Smith of TN and 7 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her 5 siblings: Elizabeth Stanton, William Champlin Jr., Ralph Champlin, Ronald Champlin, and Lorraine Champlin. She was a member of the Narragansett Indian Tribe.

She was the former Dean of Minority Students at RI School of Design and later received her Masters Degree in Social Work from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio Texas. She was a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in RI and Washington DC.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, June 13th at 11 AM Riverside Cemetery, High Street, Wakefield, RI. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Narragansett Indian Tribe, Tribal Elders P.O.Box 268, Charlestown, RI 02813.
