Ann `Marie Michaud

Ann Marie Michaud, 101, passed away on October 6,2018 at Westerly Hospital after a short illness. Ann was born April 10, 1917 in Providence to Salvatore and Ersilia DelPrete. She was the oldest sibling of four brothers, Joseph, Anthony, Salvatore, and Peter. Peter and Joseph preceded her in death. Ann worked at Shepherds as a bookkeeper in her early twenties. She married the late Armand Michaud in 1947 and celebrated 52 years of marriage. In 1957, they moved to North Providence where Ann worked at Fatima Hospital in the X-Ray Department and later as OR secretary for many years. In 1985, she and Armand retired to Narragansett. She was actively involved with her grandchildren and travelled often. Until recently, Ann resided in South Kingstown with her daughter Diane. Ann is survived by her three beloved children, Diane Davis, Richard Michaud and his wife Lynne, and Ann Rosen and her husband David. She has six accomplished grandsons, and eight beautiful great grandchildren. Ann loved her family and enjoyed being with them on every occasion. She will be fondly and lovingly remembered as a remarkable woman who lived an incredible life. Visiting hours will be Friday from 9 :00-10:30 am at the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am at St. Thomas More Church, 53 Rockland Street, Narrangansett. Burial will follow in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
