Ann Stockman King passed away peacefully with family at 93 years on May 6, 2025.
Ann was born in New York City on November 6, 1931, to Natalie and Frank Stockman. She was previously deceased by her loving husband of 66 years, Albert M King.
Ann spent her professional life in education. She held many academic degrees specializing in Library Science. She worked for over 35 years as a librarian in the Fairfield Connecticut school system.
Ann was a social butterfly enjoying the company of her family and friends. In retirement you could find her playing bridge at the senior center and enjoying the ocean and pond that she lived on. She was very active at her parish, Saint James in Charlestown RI. You could find her decorating the church for Sunday services.
Loved by her children Kristopher King and his partner Kelly of NJ, Elizabeth Black and her husband Philip of NH and David King and his wife Tricia of CT. Niece Donna DiChiara and her husband Dan of CT. Grandchildren Liz, Philip, Megan, Christine and Jennifer. Great grandson Ayman.
A private family celebration will take place.
