Ann Marie Grzebien, 80, of Narragansett, died peacefully, with her family by her side, Tuesday at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center in Providence. She was the wife of the late Albert E. Grzebien. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Vincent and Anna (Keegan) Cawley. Mrs. Grzebien was a graduate of Rhode Island Hospital School of Nursing in 1952, and was a registered nurse for many years. She was a member of St. Thomas More Church and a former member of the Pt. Judith Country Club. She will be remembered as being a devoted wife, mother and grandmother to her family. She is survived by four children, Mary Kate Grzebien of Warwick, Tom Grzebien and Bill Grzebien, both of Narragansett, and John Grzebien of Alexandria, VA; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Robert Cawley. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM Saturday at St. Thomas More Church, 53 Rockland Street, Narragansett. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Peace Dale. Visiting hours are at the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield, Friday 5-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Home & Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904-9826.
