Ann M. Gerlach. (Winfield), 76, of Narragansett, formerly of Greenville, died peacefully at home on Wednesday surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of James E. Gerlach. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late J. Robert and Mary H. (Boland) Winfield. Prior to her retirement in 1989, she was an Export Manager with A.T. Cross Company. She was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels, Seniors Helping Others and the South Kingstown Senior Center. Besides her husband, she was the loving mother of John R., of San Francisco, CA; Kathryn Manning Butler and her husband Jeffrey of Wakefield; Kyle T. and his wife Lynn of Greenville; Edward W. and his wife Erin of Pembroke, MA; and Robert J. of North Scituate; mother-in-law of Kathleen L. (Farrell) of Greenville; grandmother of Margaret, Rose, Patrick and Helen Manning; Alexandria, Kimberly, Kyle, Thomas, Nicholas, Hannah and Emma Gerlach; Kristin Capalbo; Kelli, Lauren and Jeffrey Butler; and the great grandmother of Olivia Restelli. She was the sister of Robert J. Winfield of Greenville and Catherine W. Pearson of Wakefield. She was predeceased by three sons, James E., Joseph A. and Thomas F. Gerlach, her son-in-law Michael E. Manning and her brother John F. Winfield. A funeral service will be held Saturday from the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield at 9 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Star of the Sea Church, 866 Point Judith Road, Narragansett, at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Francis Cemetery in Wakefield.
