Ann A. Durante

Ann Angell Durante, 84, of Narragansett, passed away Saturday June 13th. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Frank J. and Gertrude (Angell) McGuinn. Mrs. Durante enjoyed going to daily mass, living near the ocean, and cheering on the Providence College Basketball team, but her greatest joy was the time she spent with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by a daughter, Donna McCadden and her husband Brian of Narragansett; six grandchildren, Madelyn, Collin, Owen, and Alison McCadden, Miranda and Nicholas Joss; and a son-in-law, Stephen Joss of Charlestown. She was the mother of the late Diane Joss and sister of the late Madelyn Yena and Frank McGuinn. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday 9-10:15 am at the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am at St. Mary Star of the Sea Church 864 Pt. Judith Road, Narragansett. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
