Ann Marie Doyle, 87, of Wakefield, died Sunday. She was the beloved wife of the late William E. Doyle. Born Fall River, MA, she was a daughter of the late James W. and Irene (O’Brien) Riley. Mrs. Doyle was a switchboard operator at St. Joseph Hospital in North Providence, a volunteer at The Center in South Kingstown and she enjoyed boating. She is survived by four sons, William Doyle (Jane) of Jamestown, Thomas Doyle (Donna) of Warwick, John Doyle (Bernadette) and Joseph Doyle (Linda), both of Narragansett; two daughters, Ann "Nancy" Doyle-Moss (Ronald) and Kathleen Doyle Farless (Keith), both of Wakefield; fourteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Clair Federico of Warwick. She was the sister of the late James Riley and Carlton Riley. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in St Francis of Assisi Church, 114 High Street, Wakefield. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. Visiting hours are at the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield, Monday 5-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Meeting Street School, 1000 Eddy Street, Providence, RI 02905.
