Ann M. Brook

Ann M. (Dolan) Brook, 81, of Narragansett, passed away Monday, August 5, 2024 at the HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence. She was the loving wife of Allan L. Brook. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late John and Helen (Hebert) Dolan.

Ann grew up in Warwick, and met her husband Allan on a blind date set up by their best friends. They were married in June of 1968.

Ann was a licensed hairdresser for over 50 years and owned her own hair salon, Andolyns Beauty Salon. She was a skilled artist, most noted for her blue hydrangea flowers. She was a long-time member of the Little Rhody Rembrandts and Fayerweather Guilds Crafters. Ann was also an official member of the Water Walkers at the South County YMCA.

She loved anything Disney and looked forward to their annual yearly stay at the Disney Vacation Club.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her two children, Christoper Neil Brook and Jennifer Lynn (Brook) McKenna.

Calling hours for Ann will be held Sunday, August 25th, 2024 from 11 AM to 2 PM in the Avery- Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield, with a funeral home service at 1 PM.

We ask that everyone come in their favorite Hockey/Sports jersey, Disney character shirt, or favorite artists clothing to honor the way they lived. We plan to have a nice meal and a DJ softly playing 50s 60s music to creste a lively atmosphere to trade happy memories of Allan and Ann. That is what they would want. Please spread the word as all are invited This is one of those rare moments that we can all slow down...and just enjoy each others company.
