Angelina M. Trillo

Angelina M. Trillo (TUNDIS), 93, passed away at Scalabrini Villa on Thursday March 4th after a long illness. She was the wife of the late James Trillo Sr. She was the beloved mother of James Trillo Jr; cherished grandmother of Christine and her husband Christopher Hultquist, Jamie and her husband Fritz Benz; great grandmother of Leah, Matthew, Rachel, Andrew and Jamie. Angelina was the daughter of the late Benedetto and Christina (Spacarotella) Tundis. She was the sister of the late Joseph, Carlo, Ralph and Benedetto Tundis, Candida Falco and Mary Fusco. She lived in Providence and Cranston and was a lifelong summer resident of Narragansett. She was a past member of the Ladies Auxiliary Sons of Italy. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church, Cranston and St. Mary's Star of the Sea Church, Narragansett. A vibrant woman, Angelina was employed by family and friends choosing to work until the age of 80. She was particularly fond of working at Olivo’s Beach for her brother-in–law. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10:00 AM in St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston St., Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours Sunday 4-7 PM in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Autism Project of RI, 1516 Atwood Ave, Johnston, RI 02919.
