Angelina F. (Rotondo) Macomber, 93 , passed away peacefully on November 6 , 2021. She was the beloved wife of the late Henry C. Macomber. Angie grew up in Providence, the youngest of ten children born to the late Francesco and Livia (Constantino) Rotondo, Italian immigrants who crossed the Atlantic Ocean to Ellis Island to start a new life. Nana, as Angie was affectionately known by everyone who met her, was fiercely proud of her Italian heritage and was famous far and wide for her meatballs! Over their 50 years of marriage Angie and Hank first resided in Providence, then Warwick where she was employed by the Bulova Watch Co. and where she enthusiastically taught ceramics in her basement studio. In 1983, they moved to South Kingstown to live with their daughter and family , and where she worked several years at Stop & Shop in Narragansett. Throughout her life "Angie Nana " was a cherished babysitter of not only her grand kids, but the many children of family and friends . Angie was predeceased by her husband , her parents and nine siblings . She is survived by two children: daughter Linda Goudailler ( husband Frank ) of South Kingstown , and son Henry Macomber (wife Heather) of Pawtucket , as well as six adored grandchildren and their spouses: Frank, Jeff, Scott and wife Tanya, Angee and husband Larry, Brandon and wife Tamie, Sharro and husband Warren. There are thirteen precious great - grandchildren who will miss their Nana dearly. Services and burial will be private.
