Angela Ryan

Angela Filamena (Petrecca) Ryan, 98 of Narragansett passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2024. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert A. Ryan and daughter of the late Rocco and Gertrude (Pasquarelli) Petrecca.

Angela worked for many years as a Loan Officer at the R.I. State Employees Credit Union in Downtown Providence. Angela had a natural talent for floral arranging and later worked at her family's business, Pasquarelli Flowers. She was a daily Communicant of St. Mary Star of the Sea Church where she continued practicing her decorative talent by ordering plants and flowers weekly, and readying crisp Alter linens to adorn and beautify the Altar for every Catholic Holiday and Holy Day. Angela was an excellent cook and homemaker, and truly enjoyed preparing meals with her sister, spending all the holidays together with their families. Angela adored her family, relatives, and dear friends. She will forever be remembered.

Angela was predeceased by her beloved son Robert R. Ryan. She is survived by her loving son James P. Ryan and his wife Deborah, and her daughter-in-law Suzanne Ryan. She was the loving Grandmother of Kevin Ryan and his wife Patricia, Christopher Ryan and his wife Tiffany, James Ryan and his wife Dana, Michael Ryan and his wife Breana. Great Grandmother to Victoria Isabelle, Robert Patrick, Brenna Ann, Anthony James, and Sophia Grace. Angela was predeceased by her sister Matilda Manocchia. She was faithful and devoted to her family, and the loving Aunt to her niece and nephews who she treated and cared for like her own.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2024, from 9am to 10am in Avery Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at 11am in St. Mary Star of the Sea Church, 864 Point Judith Road, Narragansett. Burial will follow at St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston.
