Andrea Sauro Manchette, 54, of Saunderstown, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, June 21, 2020 surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer that she never let stop her. She was the beloved wife and best friend of Michael D. Manchette for 21 years. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of Joyce (Torrice) Sauro and the late Angelo Sauro. Andrea was a graduate of Narragansett High School and received her business degree in 1987 from Boston College. Andrea worked as a High School Math Teacher for Narragansett High School up until her passing. She was an incredible and loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, godmother, and friend. Her smile could light up a room. She was funny, brilliant, and had a passion for everything and anything she set her mind to. In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling with her family, going to the beach, cooking, and spending time with her friends. Along with her mother and husband, she is survived by her loving children, Ryan McNaughton, Anastasia Manchette, and Elena Manchette; her grandson, Stone Bradford Sampson; her siblings, Angelo L. Sauro, Gina M. Sauro and her husband Marc Matthews, James M. Sauro and his wife Dawn; and her nieces and nephews, Victoria, James, and Talia Sauro; Shawnna, Kayla, and Justin Manchette. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 26, 2020 at 9 am at Christ the King Church in Kingston. Burial will be private. Visiting Hours will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2020 from 4 to 7pm in Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St, Wakefield.
