Andimo J. Andy Vellone

Andimo J. “Andy” Vellone, 92, of Ocean Rd., Narragansett, died Wednesday. He was the husband of Anna (Pari) Vellone. Born in Barrington, he was the son of the late Antonio J. and Lucia Vellone. Mr. Vellone was a self employed landscaper for many years before retiring. He was communicant of St. Thomas More Church, a fire and rescue volunteer for the Narragansett Fire Department, an avid fisherman and he enjoyed bowling. Besides his wife he leaves a son Henry Vellone and his wife Gail; a daughter Rosetta Ravo and her husband Ralph all of Narragansett; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He was father of the late Anthony Vellone and brother of the late Carlo and Frank Vellone, Mary Clinton and Michelina Ventriglia. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10:00 AM in St. Thomas More Church, 53 Rockland St., Narragansett. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Peace Dale.
