Amy Godfrey Earle

Amy (Godfrey) Earle, 70, formerly of Chimney Rock Rd., North Kingstown, has left this world in search of greener pastures with beautiful flowers. She had been residing at the St. Elizabeth Home in East Greenwich, where she fought, with grace and dignity, the ravages of Alzheimer’s disease. Amy’s world was dominated by love for her family and a passionate love of nature that nurtured and comforted her for all of her life. Her star was always brightest when she was working in her garden, walking on a beach or walking in the woods, in total communion with our natural world. Amy was sweet and kind, funny and silly, loyal and loving. Peace at last our dearest Amy. She is survived by a daughter and her family, Elizabeth and Michael Bastien, Mark and Matthew Davis and Michael Bastien; a sister and her family, Susan and John Drew, Cary Drew Weigner, James Drew and the late John G. Drew. A private memorial service will be held at the chapel at St. Elizabeth Home. Should anyone desire to commemorate Amy, a donation to the John G.
