Alice Thompson

Alice Thompson, 86, of Wakefield, died Thursday. She was the beloved wife of Arthur George Thompson for 66 years. Born in New York, she and her husband retired to Rhode Island twenty years ago. She was the loving mother of Wayne Thompson and his wife Dianne of Marshfield, MA, Barbara Thompson and her husband Bill Silkes of South Kingstown, Roy Thompson and his wife Maureen of Gloucester, MA, and Gary Thompson and his wife Victoria of Charlestown; devoted grandmother of Amanda Koshinski, Gregory Silkes, Shane Thompson, Adam Silkes, Morgan Thompson, Mason Silkes, and Brittany Thompson; and four great grandchildren. A celebration of her life will be held, Saturday June 8, 2013 at 11 AM in the Peace Dale Congregational Church, 261 Columbia Street, Peace Dale. Burial will be private.
