Alice Y. Thomas

Alice Y. Thomas 70, of Wood River Junction, passed away Thursday. She was the wife of the late Harold Thomas. Born in South Kingstown, she was a daughter of the late Clifford and Eliza (Harry) Brown. Mrs. Thomas was a former CNA and house manager, while she was living in California. She is survived by five children, Chester Bliss of Providence, Michael Bliss of Wood River Junction, Sheila King of California, Roger Bliss of Providence, and Marie Nelson of California; 26 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren; and a sister Janet Wills of Saunderstown. She was the mother of the late Dawn Bliss and sister of the late Elwin Brown, Norman Brown and Clifford Brown, Jr. Visiting hours will be at the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield, Wednesday 12-2 PM followed by a funeral service at 2 PM. Burial will be private.
