Alfred Boddington Smith

Alfred B. Smith, 76, of Narragansett, passed away on Tuesday, August 21, 2018. He was the husband of Rosemary (Heibel) Smith for 52 years. Born in South Kingstown, a son of the Frederick B. Smith, Sr. and Eleanor (Lewis) Smith. Alfred was a truck driver for many years; was an avid outdoorsman, enjoyed fishing, hunting, loved the mountains of New Hampshire and Maine; coached Little League Baseball and Pop Warner Football. Besides his wife he is survived by four children, Eric Smith and his wife Melissa, Todd Smith and his wife Tina, Jennifer Coleman and her husband David and Amy Fallon and her late husband Jack; ten grandchildren and two step grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 28, 2018, at 10 am in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 114 High St., Wakefield. Burial will be private.
