Addie M. Warren

Addie M. Warren, 88, of South Kingstown, RI, passed away Saturday, July 27, 2013. She was the wife of the late Francis C. Warren. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Addie (Ball) Myrick. Mrs. Warren worked as a teacher’s Aid and Office Aid for the Wakefield Elementary school for thirty one years before retiring in 1998. She was a sixty year member of the Wakefield Baptist Church and a past state Counselor of Daughters of America. She was the mother of Sandra J. Nelson and the late Marsha W. Bowman; sister of David Myrick, Amy Kroll, Ethel Martin, Donna Angelheart, Linda Wilson and the late Beverly Dixon, Ruth Barrett and Herbert Myrick; grandmother of eight and great grandmother of four. The funeral will be held Friday, August 2, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in the Wakefield Baptist Church, 236 Main St., Wakefield. Burial will be in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours Thursday 5-7 p.m. in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Wakefield Baptist Church.
