Rosemary C. Cain

Rosemary C. Cain, 89, a longtime resident of Wakefield, passed away Monday, November 21, 2016. She was the wife of the late J. Lincoln Cain, MD. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Anna (Kelly) Cotter. Mrs. Cain was a graduate of Pembroke College and Simmons College in Boston where she obtained her master’s degree in physical therapy. She enjoyed spending time laughing and being with her large extended family and loved knitting and reading thriller novels. She is the loving mother of Cathleen C. Luoma, Elizabeth C. DeVito, David A. Cain, Sarah C. Fewell and Susan C. Grant and loving grandmother to thirteen and great grandmother to two; sister of Helen O’Neil, Leo Cotter, the late Paul Cotter, Marie Cotter, and Barbara Morrison. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at 10:00 am in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 114 High St, Wakefield. Visiting hours will be respectfully omitted.
