Peter M. Gaudio

Peter M. Gaudio, 66, passed away suddenly on Monday, May 15, 2017. Peter was born in Stamford, Connecticut. He was the son of the late Daniel and Mary (DalMolin) Gaudio. He graduated from Stamford High School and earned a master’s degree from Providence College. He worked at Clairol, Inc., in Stamford, then later as a social worker for the State of Rhode Island at the Adeline LaPlante Memorial Center. He was also an advocate of the Women’s Resource Center. Peter is survived by his beloved wife, Cheryl (Nelson) Gaudio; his children, Tanya Howard (Brandon), Nicholas Gaudio (Heather), and Erica Makuch (Daniel); nine grandchildren, and his sister, Carol Gaudio (Ron). He was predeceased by one granddaughter. He loved his family, friends, books, and good political discussions. Peter was also an avid fan of the New York Yankees, Rangers, Giants, and Knicks. A funeral will be held at the First Baptist Church of Narragansett, 305 Kingstown Rd, Narragansett, RI 02882, on Saturday, May 20, 2017, at 2:00 pm. Burial will be private.
