Matthew Jamison

Matthew Ross Jamison, age 63, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 17th at his home in Jamestown, RI. He leaves behind is wife Linda, and their son, Graham. He is survived by his sisters, Bonnie Jamison (Carl), and Lisa Richardson (John) and his brother, David Jamison (Susan), along with many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased in death by his parents, Ross and Lillian Jamison , and his sister, Rebecca Carlisle and her daughter, Leah Carlisle. Matt was a gifted marine mechanic and retired as an Accredited Marine Surveyor with over 40 years of maritime experience. Matt loved nothing more than spending time with family and friends on Narragansett Bay aboard his 1984 bass boat ’Islander’. His greatest passion was conversing with anyone about boats. Matt was a sincere, honorable. and kind hearted man who left a lasting impression on anyone who knew him. He will be greatly missed but will forever remain in our hearts. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
