Kathleen M. Mcgovern

Kathleen M. McGovern, of Narragansett, died Sunday. She was the wife of the late David R. McGovern. She was born in Cambridge, MA and was the daughter of the late William and Ann (Noon) Keough. Mrs. McGovern retired from the School of Pharmacy at the University of Rhode Island. She was a member of the Narragansett Notables Chorus, the South County Hospital Auxiliary and she was a Eucharistic Minister at St. Mary Star of the Sea Church. She is survived by a daughter, Kathy A. Craig of Narragansett; two grandchildren, Robert L. Craig, IV and Kelly A. Craig, both of Narragansett; and a brother, William T. Keough of MA. She was the sister of the late Ann G. Keough and Mary Keough. The funeral will be 9 AM Friday from the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at St. Mary Star of the Sea Church, 864 Point Judith Road, Narragansett. Burial will be private in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours are Thursday 4 -6 PM.
