Jane Mary Rock Mcandrew

Jane Mary Rock McAndrew, wife of Patrick E. McAndrew, died from lung cancer on July 24th 2017 in Grapevine, Texas. Jane was daughter of the late Joseph W. Rock and Mary Fox Rock of South Kingstown, Rhode Island. She leaves behind three children, Carol E. Max and husband Jeff, Kempshall McAndrew and wife Sanya, Merrick McAndrew and husband Anthony Kuti. Besides her husband and children, she is survived by three sisters and one brother, Elizabeth A. Murphy of Wakefield, Rhode Island, Virginia A. Winn of Hayden, Colorado, Joseph W. Rock of Temecula, California, Susan P. Masson of Wakefield, Rhode Island, and the late Carol M. Rock. While in Rhode Island, Jane had a successful real-estate and financial planning career. Upon moving to Texas, she worked as a paralegal and in financial investment. However, Jane’s true calling was being a wonderful mother and wife. She was a loyal friend to all. She loved reggae, tequila, the beach, and her dog Cappy. Jane also leaves behind four grandchildren, Shaun McAndrew, Alisha McAndrew, A.J. McAndrew, and Adam Max. She was adored and will be sorely missed by many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated August 5th at 10am in St. Romuald Chapel, 61 Atlantic Ave, Matunuck, Rhode Island. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Peace Dale.
