Eleanor "Ellie" (Soule) McJunkins, 78, of Wakefield, died on Monday, December 11, 2017, at home after a long battle with lymphoma. Born March 25, 1939, in Providence to Thomas F. And Doris M. A dedicated member of the community, Ellie attended St. Augustines Episcopal Church in Kingston. During the summer, she lived at Roy Carpenters Beach in Matunuck, where she enjoyed the company of many long-time friends. Ellie's friends always commented on her high level of energy and adventurous spirit, which led to many new experiences, including travel throughout the United States and abroad. Ellie is survived by her daughter, Kristin R. McJunkins of Connecticut; a brother, Thomas F. Soule Jr, and wife Jane of Missouri; niece Rebecca Hassy and nephew Robert Soule and wife Essie of Louisiana; several other relatives; and long-time companion Jerry Judge.
