Audrey J. Bourbonnais

Audrey J. Bourbonnais, 77, passed away on July 16, 2016, with the same courage, grace, faith and dignity with which she lived her life surrounded by her devoted family. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Richard J. Bourbonnais. Born in Providence RI, she was the daughter of the late John and Julia (Giordano) White. She was sister to Brenda Sacchetti and the late John F. White. Audrey was a hairdresser for 40 years before retiring. She was active and volunteered for many groups, whether it was making baptismal bibs for babies at St. Thomas More Church, cooking for charitable events with the Knights of Columbus or cutting the hair for the residents of Welcome House, she tirelessly gave of herself to anyone in need. She was the mother of Jane Northup and her husband Paul of South Kingstown, Richard Bourbonnais, II and his wife Lisa of Narragansett, and April Pariseault and her husband Richard of North Kingstown. She is also survived by seven grandchildren: John and Harrison Northup, Christian and Grayson Bourbonnais and Andrew, Hannah and Angela Pariseault. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, July 20th at 10:00 a.m. in St. Thomas More Church, 53 Rockland St., Narragansett. Burial will be in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Welcome House.
