Peter Storti

A native of South County, Peter has been dedicated to the funeral industry since 1983. He grew up in Narragansett and is a 1983 graduate of Bishop Hendricken High School. Peter received his degree in Mortuary Science from New England Institute of Applied Arts and Sciences in Boston, MA, in 1986. He became a licensed Funeral Director in 1987 and took over ownership of the funeral home in 1991. He has a perfect combination of attention to detail, respect, and a caring touch for all families that he cares for. He lives in South Kingstown. When not working he enjoys the beach, boating, horseback riding and spending time with his family.

Joshua Storti

Josh was born and raised in South Kingstown. He is a second generation funeral director at Avery-Storti Funeral Home. Josh graduated from The Prout School in 2015 and FINE Mortuary College in 2018. He is always eager to help others and is caring and respectful to everyone he meets. When he is not working he enjoys spending his time at the beach, snowboarding in the winter, and biking throughout South County.

Brittany Storti

Brittany was born and raised in South County. She is currently attending FINE Mortuary College for funeral directing and along with her brother Joshua will be a second-generation funeral director at Avery-Storti Funeral Home. Brittany presents a compassionate and kind energy to the community. When she is not working or studying, she enjoys working out, an active and healthy lifestyle, spending time with her family, friends, and her rescue dog, Maisy.

Joseph Notarantonio

Joe became part of our staff in 2012, he shows compassion, knowledge, and a caring spirit to all families. He is a graduate of Fine Mortuary College in 2005, and has be a licensed funeral director since then. Joe is retired from the North Providence Fire Department and is now not only a funeral director but a Captain of the Union Fire District. He lives in Narragansett with his family and is a member of St. Thomas More Parrish.

Leah Corriveau

Leah brings a kind smile and a caring heart. She shows respect and compassion for all. Leah joined our staff in early 2015 . She was born and raised in Rhode Island and is a graduate of Cranston West class of 2010 and received her Bachelor’s degree in Funeral Home Management from Mount Ida College in 2014. Leah moved from Cranston to South County to be more involved with the community. When she is not working she enjoys time with her family, friends, and working on her artwork.

Michael Ryan

Michael brings over 30 years of experience, offering a wealth of knowledge and compassion to our funeral home. He grew up in Rhode Island and he received a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from St. Joseph’s College, Standish, Maine in 1987. He then earned a degree in Mortuary Science from New England Institute, Boston, Massachusetts in 1989. He began his career in the funeral industry in the summer of 1987, working in Portland, Maine, returning to Rhode Island in 1998. Michael joined our funeral home staff in 2001 and has been an indispensable asset to our family ever since.

Michael has been a registered Funeral Director since 1991. Michael lives in Wakefield with his wife Jane and their son Sean and they are members of Christ the King Parish in Kingston. When he is not working he enjoys time with his family, golfing, skiing, and relaxing on the beach.

Leo Dube

Leo Dube is our on-staff family service counselor. Offering over 35 of experience, Leo brings a wealth of knowledge and compassion to our advance planning program. Leo joined our staff in 2004 and has become an indispensable asset to our staff and to the families we serve. 

Leo is always there to help you with any questions you may have, including Medicaid Planning social security benefits, insurance claims, veteran claims, pre-need funeral planning. No matter what you request or situation, you can be assured that Leo will be a true listener, advisor and supporter.
